The second edition, which took place in Palais des Congrés on June 13th and 14th 2007, had a great succes : more than 3000 visitors, high level conferences dedicated to economic industial and political issues related to Open Source software, participation of french and international experts.

• New place : Maison Internationale, an emblematic place situated in the heart of International Student City of Paris,
• Two days of high level conferences on the economic & strategic issues related to Open Source software, animated by the best experts of nowadays,
• Hosting for the first time the « European Opensource Lawyers Event »on September 24th
• Four meeting areas dedicated to: employment (with more than 300 offers); professional solutions and discovery of Open Source software,
• Lutèce d' Or awarding ceremony which will take place during a dinner joining together the 350 personalities from Open Source software field comming from all over the world.

The FNILL is the National Federation of Open Source Software Industry. It represents the professionals of Open Source Software in France.

The main mission is to federate the whole of the economic sector of Open Source software around 3 objectives:

• To ensure the representation of Open Source software industry , at the national, European and world wide levels;
• To promote specificities of Open Source Software Industry and OSS;
• To defend the interests of its professionals.

It succeeded, in 2007, the ASS2L (French Association in OS Software Service companies) created in 2004. It is composed of more than 90 members.



Paris Capitale du Libre is a noncommercial event

After a great success of the Paris capitale du Libre 2007, the third edition will take place on the 24th and 25th of September in the Maison Internationale of Paris.
