"Lutèce d' Or" Awards aim to reward the best projects and actions in the field of Open Source software, world wide, in various categories: public, private, assosiative, . . .

The trophies of "Lutèce d'Or" aim:
- to bring an objective recognition to the projects and initiatives carried out,
- to put the light on the developers, companies and institutions which carried out ambitious projects in the field of Open Source software,
- to inspire, support and stimulate new initiatives in this field.

Today "Lutèce d'Or" Awards aim to become the world-wide reference in the rewards of projects and action carried out in Open Source software field.
Jury is composed of the sixty more imminent specialists in Open Source software:
- journalists of IT and economic world,
- professionals of the Open Source software field,
- decision makers of the private and public sector,
- users,
- representatives of the Open Source Software communities.

"Lutèce d'Or" awarding ceremony will be held withing a dinner joining together the 200 personalities of Open Source field in France and in the World, in the prestigious place in Paris on June, 17th 2009. Nominees of the "Lutèce d'Or" awards are invited to the dinner. The winner for each category will be announced during this evening.
"Lutèce d'Or" 2009
Can participate in the "Lutèce d'Or" contest:
- all the organizations which set up Open Source technologies in their information system and which thus contributed to the development of OSS,
- all the data-processing provider, who took part in the installation of an Open Source software project for one of their customers (it will be the customer who will be rewarded and not a provider),
- all the communities of Open Source software which invest and mobilize their energy, and allow today to have mature and powerful software,
- all the associations which stimulate and help to develop and evoluate Open Source Software world,
- all the personalities which had a strong engagement in Open Source software development,
- any other person who wishes to reward a project, an action, or an influential personality in the field of Open Source software.
